7 Reasons Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is a Favorite

Although Resident Evil 2 (1998) is often thought of as a game Resident Evil the coolest of all time, but it’s undeniable that when you talk about your favorite, then Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999) the answer.

This is very evident from fans nor gamer layman who until now still remembers and even misses playing the game again. And fortunately, as we all know, this can be done considering the version remake The modern one will be released on April 3, 2022.

Now looking at these facts, maybe some of them are still asking: “Why is this game so favorite?”

Well, in my opinion, could be due to the following seven reasons. Remember this view is SUBJECTIVE or appropriate experience I used to play PS 1 games okay?

1. Cool Storyline Concept Format

Okay, okay. Indeed premise storyline RE 3 is almost the same as Resident Evil 2. In essence, Jill Valentine, like Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy, both have to fight to escape the hellish city, Raccoon City.

But what makes storyline RE 3 is cooler, it’s shown alone in almost 90% of the games (10% just assisted by Carlos cs) aka survivor completely.

So the tension was really strong. And speaking of RE 2, who knows for those of you who don’t know until now (tired!), RE 3’s background story is not only in the same location as the game. But the story is really only different 1 day before events in RE 2 starts.

RE2 and RE3 Timeline Explanation

Specifically, if RE 3 started on September 28, 1998, then RE2, started on September 29, 1998. So if you look closely, there is a not too significant difference between a certain location in RE 2 and RE 3 specifically, the police station.

Yes, logically, who doesn’t feel super excited when you see stories that are interconnected with each other like that, right? But it’s really still dumbfounded, why did Jill and Claire and Leon never meet? Too bad isn’t it?

2. Gameplay that is more fun and flexible

The gameplay is really fun

Compared to the first 2 games, RE 3: Nemesis has control and overall gameplay which is much more flexible. There is no stiff movement like in Resident Evil (1996).

There are so many new features that are much cooler and interactive and of course, puzzles which is much more challenging.

3. Puzzles

Now, continuing the last paragraph in the previous point, it is undeniable that from the first game, this game made by Shinji Mikami always gives us puzzle that challenges our brains.

However, from the first 3 series, you could say it is the third series that makes the nutmeg feel dizzy. Moreover, in the “Water Samples” puzzle which you can see for yourself in the video above. GOODNESS!

4. Combination of Weapon Powder

Weapon Powder Combination Formula

As far as I know (again, as far as I know) the feature of combining weapon powder to double or make the combined powder into a new, more dangerous powder, is new to this game. But if it’s wrong, please correct it.

Anyway, this feature is arguably very gokil. Because this feature is a life saver too when maybe we need it again heavyweight ammo like Grenade Rounds but we haven’t found the ammunition yet because it’s really rare.

Or do you really want to double the ammo handgun us, then yeah just combine it all in powder mix toolher and “TARA!” We also have more ammunition. The point is this feature is again very useful.

5. Mercenaries Mode

Mercenaries Fashion

Maybe at first many of us thought that this mode was not really useful. In other words, it’s just fashion time attack just the same.

But when I finally played it, I really felt that this menu was really cool and really important. Besides being fun and exciting, the mode is also very useful for us to activate the “immune” mode Oops wrong, I mean infinite ammo (no need to finish).

6. Jill Valentine

The first time I saw him and “make” (let’s have a positive connotation!) he was in RE 1, you could say we all fell in love with him right away.

Because Jll is a very personable person badass woman very. He’s not afraid to face any zombies and of course, his master opens the door (lockpicking). And this love is getting stronger “hot” again when in this third game, he appears only with blue and semi-twined hot pantsher sexy one.

Her sexiness is even more intense after actress Sienna Guillory played her in Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004). Guaranteed to be hot and cold right away when you see it.

7. Nemesis

Well, so what’s not the reason? Monster figure bio-weapon This giant Umbrella creation is indeed a very scary, crazy figure, but at the same time, really gokil.

If that’s not the case, then what’s the logic? Capcom cape-cape include his name in the title and the main focus is not it? If Jill is the heart, then Nemesis is the heart of this game.

Now, what do you think about this discussion?
