Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Adds Drop Zone Mode
Activision and Infinity Ward bring Christmas gifts to players Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. As announced today, two new rewards are coming to Modern Warfare on Christmas Eve. The first is a special Snowfight from Gunfight and the second is Drop Zone, the King of the Hill-esque mode.
Drop Zone is a two-team mode where players fight in a game with map locations that are constantly moving. Like King of the Hill, teams collect points at moving points on the map and earn medics along the way.
Developers Bring Back the Drop Zone Mode Fans Wanted

According to an announcement from Activision, getting medic with points is the only way to get Killstreak. It’s unclear if there are exceptions to this rule, as in previous Call of Duty games.
Drop Zone has not been included in Call of Duty games since Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Drop Zone was originally released as part of the List in the community with the intention of offering an experimental mode that players can try out.
But the mode was scrapped two months later, but Drop Zone fans desperately wanted it back.
Don’t Miss It, These Two Modes Come With a Time Limit

Snowfight from Gunfight and Drop Zone will go live in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Both modes will be available for a limited time starting December 24 at 10:00 am PT and only available until December 31 at 10:00 am PT.
Previously Activision also gave Modern Warfare players the bonus of Double XP and Double Tier gain starting on December 4th. This weekend, this Double XP will end on December 27 at 10:00 am PT.
