Call of Duty Modern Warfare Battle Pass Purchased with Points

Previously, YouTuber eColiEspresso was recently invited by Infinity Ward to preview Modern Warfare Season 1 content prior to launch. The Modern Warfare Season 1 Battle Pass can be unlocked with COD Points, Modern Warfare’s premium in-game currency.

Pricing-wise, it costs 1,000 COD Points (which costs $10 in real money) to unlock all tiers. This option may be a practical choice, as the other options cost 150 COD Points ($1.50) for each tier.

Players Can Get Skins, Weapons and More from the Battle Pass

The Battle Pass includes most of the new cosmetic items, such as operator skins, emblems and more. In addition, the new weapons Season 1, Ram-7 and Holger-26 are also included, but as eColiEspresso reminds, these are included in the free tier 20+ Battle Pass.

This is in keeping with the growing trend with battle passes in other games. Players who pay for the full Battle Pass will earn according to the money they have spent.

In addition, the Modern Warfare Battle Pass has a total of 1,300 COD Points in it. This means players can get a discount on the second Season Battle Pass.

One final thing to note, according to eColiEspresso’s conversation with Infinity Ward, the average player has to wait an hour to unlock each tier of the Battle Pass. Though that estimate will vary depending on factors such as how many double XP tokens the player has.
