CD Projekt RED Participates in Donation to Help Prevent Corona
Lately, we have heard a lot of game industry players making donations or donations to health institutions. Last time, we looked at developer Plague Inc. This popular simulation game provides a sum of money to help ease the burden on the victims of the Coronavirus.
Now, another big game company, CD Projekt RED is also helping health institutions. What is the amount given? And where are their donation targets? Let’s discuss it below.
Donate Nearly 1 Million Dollars

From the data we got from Gamerant, they reported that CD Projekt RED donated almost 1 million dollars or around 15 billion Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. The money donated to the agency aims to prevent contagion in Poland, the company’s home country.
CD Projekt RED co-founder Marcin Iwinski posted an update on his LinkedIn profile regarding the donation, stating, “We want to thank all the brave souls who fight for our well-being every day and hope this fund helps your efforts to get rid of the virus for us. Donations have been split between CD Projekt RED itself and the company’s board of directors and shareholders, with both parties donating half a million dollars.
CD Projekt RED is indeed one of many developers and publishers who have done the same thing to help prevent COVID-19.
The Company Implements a Work From Home Policy
Still on guard to anticipate the corona virus, CD Projekt RED revealed that they have run Work from Home. However, there is no news that many of the Cyberpunk 2077 projects they are currently developing will be delayed or postponed.
Currently the developers are polishing the futuristic-themed game so that it is not flawed during release. Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled to launch in September. Until now, you might be able to play The Witcher 3 to fill the void and stay home.
