Confirmed, Shaggy Will Not Be A Character in Mortal Kombat 11!

Recently, there were booming rumors about the character Shaggy will join in Mortal Kombat 11. This of course is very much supported by the fans. Starting from a meme, this character has been eagerly awaited by fans for his presence in Mortal Kombat 11. In fact, his petition even received a lot of support and managed to attract the attention of the developer who responded with a joke.

But unfortunately, maybe the hopes of the fans will not come true. Well, through a Kombat Kast livestreaming session held some time ago by NetherRealm, community manager Tyler Lansdown finally responded to the question “Will Shaggy be present in Mortal Kombat 11?” The answer itself is never.

Not only that, Lasdown explained that he and his team are very open to petitions from fans, but Shaggy here is just a meme that is too forced. Introducing a new character just for that reason is definitely not acceptable. Confirmation is not only that you know. Through the official Mortal Kombat 11 Twitter account, which uploaded a post containing #RIPShaggy.

But the fans can at least accept this decision gracefully because Shaggy’s petition from the start was just a joke. The Kombat Kast livestream session at least comes with a new surprise, where Kabal and D’Vorah are confirmed to be present in Mortal Kombat 11. Mortal Kombat 11 is scheduled to be released on April 23, 2022, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
