Control Will Be Improved On PlayStation 5!
Game made Remedy Entertainment namely Control came as a surprise when it released earlier this year on current-gen consoles. And now, Remedy has started discussing what its newest game will look like when the next generation launches.
Both PS5 and Xbox Scarlett have better hardware and SSD. Remedy explores what it’s like for games to run on the PS5’s upgraded hardware.
Despite all that, Remedy wasn’t done with Control for now. The developer had announced a premium DLC expansion for the game a few months ago. Developers from Remedy spoke with PlayStation Magazine about how the company thinks about the future of gaming.
Developer Says Quality Control Could Be Improved If Available on PS5

Main programmer Control, Sean Donnelly talks about the PS5’s new hardware and how it will help the game surpass its current quality. “With the addition of the system it’s safe to say we’re hitting the limit on what older CPUs can achieve,” said Donnelly.
“When it comes to the PS5, faster hardware is always appreciated and will make life a lot easier. This new SSD really stands out, streaming is a worry no more and the extra CPU bandwidth doesn’t have to go the extra mile during the process. ”
So the next generation of consoles will have an easier time storing and processing everything that happens in Control. This game does require quite a lot of hard drive space. That way, Remedy can make better quality upgrades for games on PS5.
Sony Will Remove In-Game Loading Screen On Playstation 5

Fans will also be pleased to know that Remedy is already planning any possible fixes. Sony has previously spoken about its hopes of removing the loading screen with the new technology, though that will depend on individual games.
Technical director Mika Vehkala shared his thoughts on the statement for Control. “If the game were to stay the same in terms of scope and visual quality, it would make loading times almost imperceptible and starting levels could be nearly instantaneous,” he said.
It will be interesting to see if Sony achieves its goal of eliminating the loading screen. At least Sony was able to make it almost as invisible as Vehkala hoped. Fans will definitely notice the difference when playing Control on PlayStation 5 later.
