Cygames Take Over Development of Granblue Fantasy Relink!
At first, Platinum Games was the one who developed the mobile game’Granblue Fantasy Relink‘. But for some reason, they suddenly backed off and now Cygames is taking over the current development of Grandblue Fantasy Relink. It’s not clear why the Bayonetta and NieR: Automata developers had to stop working on them.
Well, this was known when Cygames said that the development of Granblue Fantasy Relink would be transferred from Platinum Games to their own internal team. This makes them have to fully handle 100% of the development. Apparently, the transfer was done because their contract period had ended.
And now, Cygames is interested in releasing Granblue Fantasy Relink on the PC platform. However, currently Granblue Fantasy Relink will only be released for PlayStation 4 on an undetermined date. It is the first console game from the mobile game adaptation which is very popular in Japan. So, let’s wait.
