Death Stranding Gets a Negative Review Bomb!
Death Stranding received a bomb review from Metacritic users on the day of its release. Death Stranding reviews from critics were divided, some saying the game was good, some not. But it seems that some players from the latest game Hideo Kojima didn’t find it fun either.
Score for Death Stranding from Metacritic only 6.3 only. A total of 1,379 users have submitted positive reviews for the game and 883 have submitted negative reviews. It’s not uncommon for something like this to happen in games, it shows that Death Stranding is being reviewed by many players.
Many Players Give Values 0 and 10 for Death Stranding
Out of a total of 883 bad reviews, many gave the game a zero rating, while many good reviews rated the game 10/10. It’s also not uncommon for a game to get user scores across the scale, but the 0/10 and 10/10 review counts seem odd when there are only 89 neutral reviews.
A game that so many people enjoy and hate will likely have more people in the middle. Looking at Death Stranding reviews from Metacritic users, many of them also seem to be talking about Hideo Kojima, his fame, and his popularity.
Some Negative and Positive Comments For Kojima Circulating on the Internet
One review 0/10 from a user named FortniteMoney, said that “Now you know why Kojima doesn’t show too much about this game or talk enough about it, because he relies on the media and his overhyped fans too much, to promote this game.”
The user also accused Hideo Kojima “abusing his reputation.” Nintendo, another user, said Death Stranding was “totally boring” and told Kojima to make a movie, not a game.
Some positive reviews also speak of Kojima. One review 10/10 from robbiengall saying that “giving the game a “0” just because you don’t like it, means you’re an immature idiot. It’s your fault, you expected something else, not Kojima.”
Another 10/10 review by kemblon667 also criticized other reviews and said they “give it a 10 just to compensate for this stupidity.”
As additional information, Kojima also said that Death Stranding took a long time to complete. This game has now been released on PS4 and will be released on PC in the summer of 2022.
