Here are the 2022 Game Awards Winners, Sekiro Wins Game Of The Year
The Game Awards is a prestigious event held annually to recognize achievements in the video game industry. The Game Awards event this time was hosted by a game journalist named Geoff Keighley.
This year, The Game Awards 2022 was quite controversial, because there was one game that was allegedly privileged so that it entered many categories at once. But Geoff Keigley confirmed that he was involved in selecting the nominees.
Sekiro Wins Game Of The Year Category

Many thought that Death Stranding would win the Game of The Year category, considering that Death Stranding entered into many categories. Even so, it doesn’t necessarily make Death Stranding win the Game of The Year category.
This game made by Hideo Kojima has to compete with Control, a New Third Person Shooter Game from Remedy which recently won the IGN Game of The Year. Although the Game of The Year nominations this time were led by Death Stranding and Control. Neither of them took home the Game of The Year title at The Game Award 2022.
This year’s Game of The Year winner is Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice developed by FromSoftware and published by Activision.
