Justice Online Characters at Expensive Prices, Even Sold Very Cheap

But unfortunately, the multimillion-dollar character was sold without permission by a man and lawsuits ensued. According to SCMP, the character’s owner lent his character to a friend, and the friend reportedly tried to resell it for 388,000 yuan ($55,138).
Unfortunately, character MMORPG it ended up on the gaming market for just 3,888 yuan ($552). After losing such a large investment, the man filed a lawsuit against Justice Online’s friend and publisher, NetEase.
While in court, the friend claimed that the low price was the result of a typo caused by exhaustion after marathon gaming.
Lucky the owner can get back the expensive character

The case was eventually settled by a judge who arbitrated the case online. These judges are appointed by the Chinese authorities as judges to oversee legal matters remotely. Luckily for the character owner, NetEase canceled the sale transaction and he was able to get it back.
But the owner reportedly had to pay 90,000 yuan ($12,789) in damages to the player who bought it cheaply. But at least he could get that expensive character back.
The SCMP report doesn’t really provide any information on why the man spent so much money just on Justice Online. So we can’t say for sure that spending $1.4 million is a sign of addiction.
However, game addiction is a recently popular issue in China. The Chinese government has also taken swift steps to address this problem. One of them gives game play time limit for children.
