League of Legends Becomes the Most Popular Game on Twitch, PUBG Knocked Out from the Top 10?

The reports also don’t focus on just one platform, they also show viewership numbers for various streamers, platforms and games over the past year.
Last year was in the top five, now PUBG is out of the top ten
As we know that last year the Battle Royale genre game was trending and had a lot of fans. This can be proven if we look at several battle royale games occupying the top ten on Twitch.
Last year, fortnite, which has the battle royale genre, took the top spot on the most popular games on Twitch. Meanwhile, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) occupies the fifth position under Dota 2, whose rise and fall are not too drastic from year to year.
Last year, Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) took the tenth position under World of Warcraft. However, this year GTA V occupies the fourth position, shifting Dota 2 which was in the same position last year.
The increase in GTA V by 277% is certainly not surprising, because almost all Gamers like the GTA Game developed by Rockstar. Many even say that GTA is one of the best games ever present in the gaming industry, especially GTA San Andreas.
Apex Legends, New Arrivals Who Immediately Dominate the Market
Whenever there is a Battle royale genre Game, we can see they will immediately dominate the market. For example, PUBG and Fortnite which when they came out immediately dominated the market.
Just like PUBG, Apex Legends which was recently released has entered the ten most popular games on Twitch. Even though it occupies the bottom of the most popular games overall, Apex Legends can lead the most popular games recently released.
Apex Legend’s showtime is almost double that of Teamfight Tactis, while Death Stranding, which recently won the category at The Game Awards 2022, took fourth place as the Top 10 new IPs/frachises of 2022.
