New Rumor Again, Microsoft is Buying Silent Hill from Konami?
Rumors for Konami’s well-known franchise, Silent Hill have indeed been thrust everywhere. Previously, we have heard an official statement from Konami that this game will not be taken over by Sony. But apparently, it didn’t last long. Now we have a new, even more shocking rumor.
One of the game media, claims that Microsoft is in the process of buying Silent Hill and other valuable franchises owned by Konami. How could this happen? Check out the following short review.
Silent Hill, Metal Gear and Castlevania Already Purchased by Microsoft

Launching from TechPlusGame, a leaker at Pastebin revealed that Microsoft has already completed the purchase for Silent Hill. Not only that, the source also said that the giant company bought all Konami games, including Metal Gear and Castlevania.
This Pastebin document also explains other conditions that must be carried out by Microsoft, one of which is to pay royalties for each remastered and original game rights that produce new products.
Microsoft was allowed to keep all profits from each new and original game, and select appropriate employees to form a new studio based in Japan. In the first 12-18 months of this agreement, Konami appears to have allowed Xbox Games Studio Tokyo to act as “headquarters.”
No official confirmation yet

Until now, there is still no official confirmation from either Microsoft or Konami regarding this circulating rumor. We must remain calm in the face of rumors that are not necessarily true.
As Konami recently stated, they have special plans in the works for the latest Silent Hill game. Now they are focusing on mobile games because the market they have is much bigger. It’s possible that Silent Hill won’t be coming any time soon. But of course, we can still hope that Hideo Kojima will be back in control for this popular horror game.
