No cellphone was bought to play PUBG Mobile, this boy chose suicide
Again there is a very sad incident just because of the game PUBG in India. After previously, there was a young man who killed 1 of his family and there was a boy who sent a letter to the government to ban PUBG, now there is a boy from India who chose to commit suicide just because he didn’t buy a smartphone to play games.
In India, PUBG is considered as a school crush game. And for some reason, PUBG’s bad image is getting worse and worse. Yes, because there was a Mumbai teenager who chose to end his life after he was rejected by his parents for not buying him a new smartphone. According to reports circulating, the boy from Mumbai committed suicide due to not being bought a smartphone because he wanted to play PUBG Mobile.
Then, his family just refused because the price of the smartphone wanted by the teenager who lived in the Nehru Nagar area was quite expensive, which was around Rs 37 thousand or equivalent to IDR 7.2 million. Before ending his life, the young man reportedly had a fight with his parents and he felt quite disappointed. And finally he decided to commit suicide by hanging himself. I hope this never happens again.
