Obsidian Recruits Call of Duty Developers to Create New RPG Games
Obisidian Entertainment is a game company that developed the games Fallout: New Vegas and Outer World. They seem to want to work on a new RPG themed game and are currently looking for suitable people to join the project.
Recently, we got news that they are recruiting a new game developer. Who is he? And what is the task in this project? Let’s review it below.
Destiny 2 and CoD Developer Jason Diaz
Yep, Obsidian has hired Jason Diaz, the developer for big games like Destiny 2 and Call of Duty. Then, the role he will take in this project is as animation director.
The original job listing that Obsidian posted on LinkedIn stated that the position would be hired for a “AAA next-gen RPG.” Currently, Obsidian Entertainment does have several projects in progress, and many details are unknown.
Obsidian is working on Grounded, a game project that has a look that’s perfect for kids. But Diaz’s project was far different from what had been announced.
Obsidian Often Makes RPG Games

For those of you who follow this company, Obsidian often makes RPG games on a regular basis. Last year, The Outer Worlds became one of the RPGs released by the studio. They are now of course gathering resources for their new game.
By relying on storytelling and roleplaying, bringing in a talented animator like Diaz will definitely help take other elements of the game to the next level. Hopefully, Diaz can succeed for his project at Obsidian.
The Outer Worlds can now also be played on Switch starting a few days ago. Meanwhile, for Steam players, you have to wait a little longer because they haven’t got a release date yet. Previously, this game was only released exclusively on the Epic Games Store.
Maybe we should stay longer to know about what games will be made. Therefore, keep visiting Dafunda Game to get the latest updates about the game world. Don’t forget to comment if you have your opinion about this news.
