Pewdiepie: Joker Film Unfairly Criticized by Media
YouTube star Felix’PewDiePie‘ Kjellberg explained why the recently released Joker film was unfairly denounced by the media. Prior to its release, the Joker film had received scathing criticism which was considered to have inspired violence.
YouTuber This number one, is often the talk of many YouTube connoisseurs for making entertaining videos. In addition, he also often presents the latest viral content for his followers, which number more than 102 million subscribers.
According to PewDiePie, the criticism of Joker movie is unfair
For his latest upload, the Swedish man chose to discuss more serious topics about crime and violence. The topic is the violence that critics have raised before Joker movie premiered on August 31.
The Joker film did receive massive support despite initial criticism from the media. For PewDiePie specifically wanted to highlight the media reaction to the film. Many media outlets are concerned that this R-rated film could promote violence or be a copycat to audiences.
“The media reaction is slowly starting to get weird, talking about how the Joker is a dangerous film and publicizing bad things from the internet.”

Previously, some media outlets have tried to blame violence such as shootings in movies and video games in the past. PewDiePie said that such events should be blamed more on the individual.
“People have been blaming movies, music, games, etc. as problems for other people’s behavior for decades, instead of blaming the people themselves, even I was blamed,”

Felix said that it was perfectly legal for people to have concerns about it. It’s just that the amount of concern highlighted by the media over the Joker movie could actually be more “dangerous” than the film itself.
