PUBG Can Cross-Platform Next September!

Quoting from the official PUBG Twitter account, it is known that PUBG is developing a cross-platform feature that Xbox One and PS4 users can start testing at the end of September on PTS (Public Test Server).

However, it’s not clear whether the cross-platform feature will allow players across consoles to team up together or if this will only appear in competitive mode.

Cecilia Lee as PUBG Corp Community Manager stated “Our main goal with cross-platform is for 100 players from both consoles to be able to play in the same match”.

“Our second goal is to speed up the matchmaking process, which is expected to take less time for console users as the matchmaking pool expands. Shorter waiting times and more enemies on the battlefield equals a greater chance to get a chicken dinner,” concluded Cecilia Lee.

In addition to developing cross-platform features, it is also known that the fourth season of PUBG will also promise new features. One that will be waiting for is the new face of the Erangel map which will be completed on 27 August.

How are you guys? The battle arena will be wider. Where later between Xbox One and PlayStation4 players will be able to meet each other with this cross-platform feature. Interesting to look forward to.
