Resident Evil 3 Remake Cutscene Leaks, Jill Becomes a Real Zombie?

Resident Evil 3 Remake has indeed just shared a demo that you can play to try out this game. Even though it’s only a little, we can feel how the gameplay and atmosphere of horror are trying to be shared by the developer.

But apparently that’s not all that is spreading on the Internet today. In addition to RE3 Remake’s mischievous mod featuring a naked Jill Valentine, there are also cutscenes from the original game that have leaked onto the internet. Is that true? Let’s check the explanation below.

Starting from DailyMotion

Resident Evil 3 is only a few days away until release, it seems the game’s opening cutscene has leaked online. Just a warning this news has not been confirmed by the developer, it may contain spoilers for the Resident Evil 3 remake.

The leaked footage was shared by Twitter user AestheticGamer. He later clarified that he was not the source of the now-deleted video. According to him, the footage was first posted on Dailymotion but has now disappeared online.

As of this writing, it is not clear whether the leaked video circulating on the internet is legit or not. However, it appears to be genuine as it shows footage from the game that hasn’t been revealed in the trailer, preview, and even the previously playable demo.

For those of you who may not have seen it, you must be wondering what the contents of the cutscene are. The cutscene begins with a montage of news reports centered around an area in danger of developing from the T-Virus outbreak in Raccoon City. It was then transferred to the Umbrella laboratory where several researchers were seen making final preparations for the launch of Umbrella’s newest creation, the Nemesis.

However, the most interesting part of the opening cut-scene is when he switches to Jill Valentine which is seen from a first-person perspective. This video shows Jill waking up in her apartment, then the player can control the character.

Even so, in a first-person perspective, the player briefly explores Jill’s apartment before heading to the bathroom where he sees her reflection slowly turning into a zombie. Fans will remember this scene from the original Resident Evil 3 trailer.

After that, the scene changes when Jill grabs her gun, points it at her head, and pulls the trigger. After hearing gunshots, the cutscene shows Jill back in her bed, signaling that the bathroom scene was just a dream.

Although the description of the scene above sounds quite convincing, there has been no official confirmation given by Capcom. Therefore, we ask that you do not take these rumors too seriously.
