#RipFortnite Trending on Twitter, What's Up With Fortnite?
It can’t be denied that Fortnite has become one of the most successful games in the battle royale genre. This is inseparable from its unique building mechanics and the latest updates that developers often provide. But something strange recently, the hashtag #RIPFortnite has started trending on Twitter and comments from players seem displeased with the game.
Genre battle royale became increasingly contested but Fortnite managed to maintain its player base through its mechanics and content. This free-to-play game always comes with new content that is sure to make players survive. But this game seems to have lost its way with updates that no longer have the same appeal.
The battle royale game has recently been the focus of some criticism, including in terms of matching and server problems. Despite these issues, it’s surprising to know that so many players are declaring that this game is dead.
Players Request that Epic Game Restore Old Maps and Weapons
Of course there is a reason, and the reasons also vary. Many players want old maps and old weapons to be able to return to the game. It will be interesting to see how Epic Games address the problems and demands of many of its players.
There are many requests that Epic Games has to consider, however, this game still has a large player base. With a lot of players using hashtags stating the game is over, Epic Games will probably take the game back even further so that it will bring the original game back.
Even though the hashtag #RipFortnite is trending, Fortnite certainly still has a large player base

Fortnite still has a large number of players. However, the developers at least want to keep players from being lost. Well, it will be interesting to see if Epic Games invests the time and energy in getting its players back.
Developers can focus on retaining current players and delivering what departed players want. With that said, it looks like a lot of players will reminisce about the old Fortnite. Fortnite is now available on PC, PS4, iOS, Android, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
