Russian Laboratory Creates AI Geralt of Rivia
Today’s technology is so advanced that artificial intelligence is created that makes it easier for people to do their business. Not only that, AI has also often been combined in the game line. One that you may know about is OpenAI, an artificial intelligence that has the ability to play Dota 2 games.
AI is usually trained based on the results of the game or the behavior of people playing a game. Then what if the AI is taken from the characters in the game? What about the popular game The Witcher? Come see the review below.
AI Geralt of Rivia
A Russian Artificial Intelligence company called Mind Simulation is working on an AI version of Geralt of Rivia, the main character from The Witcher series. The simulation places players at a bar with Geralt sitting next door to chat. While there are many translations of Geralt, the preview shown by Mind Simulation seems to draw Geralt’s character model straight from the video game The Witcher.
However, Geralt’s voice is not very similar to the original, as he in this video is a robot and does not have any personality. It’s not really a finished product, but the AI seems pretty impressive.
Players can talk to Geralt by typing a message. Because based on the game, the dialogue that occurs is related to the story of The Witcher. At least, this AI provides answers related to what is being spoken and has a good word structure.
Tough Work

As we know, Geralt has very distinctive characteristics in this game. He also has a fickle personality, relationships, and social circumstances in the game. To enter this gigantic information into AI, of course, it takes hard and heavy work. But for now, AI Geralt still needs a lot of development to become more realistic.
As we know, Geralt of Rivia is a very popular character to date. He appeared from the first until The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which is indeed one of the best PS4 and PC games. This character jumped again when Netflix released the series The Witcher with Henry Cavill playing the slayer.
So, what do you think about AI Geralt of Rivia? Would you be interested in having a conversation with him when he became more realistic? Give your opinion in the comments column.
