Sony Will Free Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey
For those of you who are hunting for free games, there is good news for you. In the midst of the conditions regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, many game publishers and developers are making their games free so gamers don’t get bored. This is of course to support the #stayhome movement.
As we all know, in this month alone, several games have been released for free for gamers. Previously there was the game Assassin’s Creed 2 which is free on Uplay, Just Cause 4 which will be free on the 11th yesterday on the Epic Games Store and most recently Total War: Shogun 2 which is permanently free on Steam.
Now, this time it was Playstation’s turn to take the initiative to make two exclusive games free for their fans. Of course, this news is good news for those of you who are bored at home.
Present the Play At Home Initiative
Through the official Playstation blog, President of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Jim Ryan revealed that his party was preparing the ‘Play At Home Initiative’ program. In the program, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that they would make it free Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey permanent starting April 15, 2022 at 20:00 US time, or April 16 at 10:00 WIB.
This program is one of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s efforts to support gamers to stay at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Play At Home Initiative will be implemented until early May 2022.
In other words, you still have plenty of time to claim one of the best works of Naughty Dog and Annapurna Interactive. Sony’s president also explained that the program is not the only one they are currently working on.
Currently Sony Interactive Entertainment is trying to continue to provide financial support to indie developers who are their partners, in the midst of this pandemic.
Ryan revealed that his party had prepared a fund of $10 million to support them. More detailed information including how to participate will be announced in the near future.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is a collection of three series Uncharted updated for Playstation 4. Included games are Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake’s Collection is not just a collection of remastered games. The reason is, this game presents new visuals that use the abilities of the Playstation 4 as well as possible.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake’s Collection will take you involved in the adventures of Nathan Drake, a treasure hunter in search of various treasures around the world.

Journey
Journey is a pretty special game. In journey, you will control a cloaked creature named Robed Stranger (or Stranger only).
As a Stranger, all you can do is walk, jump, and issue some kind of signal to interact with some of the objects in the game.
One of the advantages Journey not only present thanks to the unique gameplay it has. This game is also so special thanks to the support of fantastic audio and visual quality. Journey carries a graphic style that looks like a transition between plain 3D and cel-shading.
