January has indeed been a pretty tiring month for Valve. How not, they managed to ban 1 million accounts due to cheating in the game.
The info was obtained through SteamDB where they managed to track down several cheaters across their gaming platforms.

In November 2022, Valve managed to take action against around 192 thousand people and in December it reached 600 thousand, while in January it reached 1 million people. This is history for Valve who managed to ban almost 1 million people.
The reason for the soaring number of cheaters at Valve.
Some people think that the jump in the number of cheaters was triggered by Valve itself, which made CS:GO free last December.
