The Last of Us 2 Removed from PlayStation Store
It has been confirmed that The Last of Us 2 will not be released as scheduled. Sony recently announced that Naughty Dog’s newest game has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
After that, immediately the name of the game listed on the PlayStation Store finally disappeared. So what is the fate of this game now?
Can’t Order

Of course now players will no longer be able to pre-order The Last of Us 2 or view various screenshots and videos of the page it was supposed to be. Because they still rely on physical copies, logistical problems during the VOCID-19 era became one of the obstacles for Sony.
Actually, the game is almost done and maybe just needs a little more polish. However, due to this unexpected reason, they still haven’t announced when this game will actually be released and can be sent to players.
Indeed, there are several options that might be used, such as providing an early digital release for this game. However, The Last of Us 2 director Neil Druckman stated that the digital edition will not be released earlier. The main reason disclosed is to avoid spoilers and currently the Internet speed is being lowered. They are afraid that the large size of this game will make it difficult for players to wait.
Disappointed Fans, Not Full Developer

The delay of this game did make most fans disappointed, because indeed they had waited a very long time to play this game. The page for The Last of Us 2 has indeed been removed from the PlayStation Store page, this delay is also not due to a bug and is out of Naughty Dog’s control.
Sony had time to share a new screenshot to treat the heartache of fans. But until now there is still no news regarding the new release schedule for the game. Hopefully this will be the last delay and The Last of Us 2 will arrive sooner than we expected.
