Age of Empires is back in 2022 in a big way. Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition officially launches for PC today, and Xbox reveals gameplay debut for Age of Empires 4 at the opening ceremony of X019.
Age of Empires 4 was originally announced in early August this year, but the only information available at the time was the title and logo. Today Xbox shows you exactly what Age of Empires will look like in 2022. Apart from that, the developer has also made improvements to the game.

Age of Empires fans have been waiting almost 15 years for a new sequel in one of the best RTS franchises. But it seems they will have to wait a little longer.
