xQc Speaks Up About Death Stranding's Negative Review Bombs
Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel not a person who likes to spit criticism of video games. But after seeing Death Stranding’s flood of negative reviews, he was moved to comment.
New game title developed by Kojima Productions released on November 8th. This latest game has successfully become the talk of many gamers today. In addition, the game has also proven to be an antidote to debate in the online gaming community.
xQc Comments About Players Giving Negative Reviews

Death Stranding is the first project Hideo Kojima as director of video games. He has worked since splitting from Konami in 2022. Coming back to xQc, the streamer decided to attack players who gave the game negative reviews.
During a broadcast on November 10, the former Overwatch professional said:
“Obviously the game was poorly received by trash game reviewers who couldn’t play the game well. And will get stuck in parts where you have to walk a lot, because they can’t climb properly because they’re stupid, so they’re giving too bad a review.”
According to him, players who give very bad reviews are just idiots
“If you’re a gamer more concerned with gameplay, then, of course, this will have bad reviews, but not that bad. Not as bad as people give it at first – no way dude.”
When asked what score he would give from 0 to 10 for Death Stranding, he gave it a 9.5 the first time he answered. But he soon changed his mind as seen in the clip on this link.
xQc estimates that the game Death Stranding is sure to scoop up some video game awards in the near future. Did it pay off or not? We’ll have to see further, but Hideo Kojima and his team will surely expect something good to happen.
