Arena of Valor and Free Fire Officially Become Tournament Games in Student Level eSports!
Assisted by Garena, the Ministry of Youth and Sports is ready to hold a national level eSports event for students in Junior High School and Senior High School. In the tournament, there will be 40,000 students and 600 schools from Sumatra and Java.
This tournament will start at the city level and continue to the regional level and after that the participants will compete at the national level for the Menpora Cup.
As quoted from Bola, Asril Sadikit Satar as the event organizer said that this tournament will be held from February 18 to September 2022. This tournament will visit 22 cities in Java and Sumatra.
The reason behind the selection of Arena of Valor (AOV) and Free Fire is that AOV won the Best Multiplayer Game nomination at the International Mobile Gaming Award (IMGA) 2022 while Free Fire won the title as Google Play User’s Game Choice of 2022.
