Bug In PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds New Map "Sanhok" Allows Players To Be Invisible To Enemies
Not long ago, an exploit was discovered in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds new map, Sanhok, with a bug that allowed players to completely disappear from view to then easily jump on any nearby opponents. Thankfully, PUBG developers were quick to act on this issue, as the team has officially patched the in-game exploit by providing a fix in the latest PC update.
According to the patch notes for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds 1.0 Update, this bug fix includes an issue where some terrains in Sanhok could be traversed. With this being the case, those who decide to take advantage of the exploit will surely see their end when they return to the spot in the next match to find that the disappearing action can no longer be performed.
Bluehole Studio and PUBG Corp. Quickly Fix PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Bug
As one might suspect, the latest PC update for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds not only fixes Sanhok’s troublesome terrain, but the patch brings some visual improvements to the map as well by adding extra environmental features to the ruins, as well as island cliffs and rocks. What’s even more important is that the patch also fixes an issue where the reticles on player arcs appear misaligned.
Taking all of this into account, it’s really nice to see that Bluehole Studio and PUBG Corp. quickly caught on and fixed PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds mastery of the Sanhok battlefield before it lasted too long. Hopefully, the company will continue to successfully refine, tweak, and refine the Battle Royale title for its existing 400 million plus player base, as this will help grow more PUBG audiences.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is now available for Android, iOS, PC, and Xbox One.
