Chris Redfield Will Be the Antagonist in Resident Evil 8?

It feels like in these few weeks, there is no day without rumors Resident Evil 8. And recently, Biohazardcast, re-enliven the rumors, with their rumors that sound very crazy.

Wow, what’s the rumor? First, they got the news that RE 8, will later be titled: Resident Evil: Village.

Based on the title, it seems that the rumors that the 8th game will be located in a remote place, are true.

However, the leaked rumors that caused quite a stir was related to RE veteran, Chris Redfield. Wow, what’s wrong with Chris? According to the rumors, in the 8th game, Chris will become an ANTAGONIST character!

More specifically, according to the leak, later Chris will be shown in the scene Flash back where she becomes an integral part of Ethan, Mia, and an assumed baby, is her second child.

And Chris according to the leaker, will be given a look at breaking into their house and, SHOOT one of the three! WOW!

But seriously isn’t it?

When we read the rumors, we also inevitably asked ourselves. Is it true, what’s next? Well, the name is just a rumor. So take it easy first.

We’ll see later. If I say it’s not possible. As seen well in campaign main (Ethan) and campaign Chris himself, in Resident Evil VII: Biohazard entitled “Not a Hero”, that Chris is already part of the team Blue Umbrella.

And not like a team Red Umbrella, this team can actually be said, counter-umbrella-his. In other words, Chris’ team was the protagonist. Even if he looks rude or something, I’m sure someone with a military background like him will definitely have a reason why he acts like that.

In my opinion, it’s possible that Ethan, Mia, and the baby will be infected by becoming the zombie’s BOW. Or it could be accidentally. Many factors.

One more thing that I still believe in, it’s impossible for Chris to be an antagonist with no clear leader at all. Now, what do you think about this news?
