Geralt of Rivia Joins Monster Hunter World on PS4 and Xbox Next Month!
Gerald of Rivia from The Witcher 3 is rumored to be invading Capcom’s ROG game Monster Hunter World this year as part of their game’s crossover event. The developer also confirmed that the famous Witcher will arrive on PS4 and Xbox One as a free update next month, February 8.
Capcom also hasn’t revealed too many details about what will happen in this crossover, but he did say there will be a ‘unique’ update that combines RPG mechanics from The Witcher 3.

Capcom also said that the collaboration with Monster Hunter World is a close relationship with CD Projekt Red, the studio behind the game The Witcher. In addition, Geralt’s voice actor has also been registered to voice the game.
Geralt isn’t the only character from the video game to get a crossover with Monster Hunter World. Earlier this month, Capcom also collaborated with Ubisoft to deliver Assassin’s Creed content.
Before Geralt arrives, Capcom will kick off the Monster Appreciation Fest Monster Hunter World, an in-game event to commemorate the title’s first anniversary. The festivities kick off on January 26 and will bring back “almost all” the event’s previous quests. It will also feature new equipment, limited rewards, and “very special” event quests.
