Share New Tweet, Kojima Seduces Fans with Death Stranding 2?
Last year, Hideo Kojima came up with the ultimate new game, Death Stranding. This game has become one of the booming games even though it was only released exclusively on the PlayStation 4.
With a new feel, a complicated world and a different gameplay from most games, fans certainly hope that Death Stranding will get a continuation or a sequel.
But it seems, Kojima is now giving signs for the next game. Is Death Stranding 2 coming soon?
Kojima Shared a New Tweet
The first tweet that became the reason why many fans felt Death Stranding 2 would be made was a tweet featuring a photo of Kojima’s desk. There you can see baby dolls, sketches and some stationery. Through his caption, Kojima explained that it was a process when he created concepts for new ideas he got.
“This is how I designed a new title with Yoji [Shinkawa]. First, we discussed the background of each character, background, world, color, characteristics, roles, images, ideas and keywords via email or not. WFH and 20 minutes of live discussion. Most of the text messages are via cellphones.” From the tweet, it seems that Kojima is currently drafting a new game. But it is still unknown whether this is a continuation of Death Stranding or not.
In another tweet, he is seen uploading a photo with the words ‘brigdes’ vaguely written on it. This is also what makes fans speculate that Kojima is currently being teased for his next project.
Kojima’s Explanation in Game Development

If Kojima didn’t mean to give a sneak peek of his next project, this tweet might just be an explanation of how he’s made such a weird game. Fans themselves often ask how Kojima came up with the idea for Death Stranding, so on this occasion he’s trying to explain it.
Death Stranding doesn’t appear to be going anywhere anytime soon. Kojima is probably currently focusing on a completely new game. There are also some rumors saying that Kojima Productions got an offer to make a new game in collaboration with Sony.
What do you think about Kojima’s tweet above? Death Stranding is now available on PS4 and a PC version is currently under development.
