Some Ubisoft Games Don't Support PS5 Backward Compatibility
Currently there are only 2 weeks left for the launch of PlayStaion 5. And a lot of information has been published either from Sony or from game developers. Just an example Ubisoft who announced that some of his games don’t support the feature backward compatibility PS5.
Previously, Sony had confirmed that +4,000+ PS4 games would be playable on PS5 via the feature backward compatibility PS5. However, now Ubisoft is having problems with some of its games that don’t support this feature.
Ubisoft Announces Some Games Unplayable on PS5

As one of the developers of several big games, Ubisoft is a game company that produces cool and phenomenal games. However, the name of the problem is sure to occur even though the name of the company is already well-known and big all over the world.
Right now, Ubisoft is having problems with some games that don’t support it backward compatibility PS5. This is a pretty tricky issue for Ubisoft because of several titles franchise Big games like Assassin’s Creed are included in the list of games that Ubisoft has announced.
Some sequels of Assassin’s Creed that don’t support backward compatibility PS5 like Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy Pack. As well as several single sequels to Assassin’s Chronicles India, China, and Russia are also included.
This, of course, must be addressed by Ubisoft immediately because it will cause big problems in the future, especially for PS5 fans. Ubisoft itself has not provided a clear reason for this problem.
With this happening, raises a speculation, there may be other game developers who may experience the same thing as Ubisoft. However, they still haven’t announced it.
What About Xbox Series X/S?

The question now is, does this also happen to the Xbox Series X/S? In response, Ubisoft stated that all of its games on the Xbox One can be played on the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
For now we can only hope that Ubisoft can finish some of its unsupported games backward compatibility PS5. So that in the future both consoles next-gen which will be released has universal universal support.
