The Last of Us Part 2 Gets Bad Ratings from Players, Why?
The Last of Us Part 2 is one of the most anticipated game sequels by gamers this year. The game made by Naughty Dog, which had been delayed for several times, finally released this month exclusively on PlayStation 4.
But there seems to be a bit of a problem going on about this game. Only released for three days, this game actually got a bad rating and was ridiculed by fans. Why? Let’s follow the news below.
TLoU 2 Gets Many Negative Ratings
From metacritic that we can see, TLoU 2 gets a rating below 50% of its audience. There is no problem from the visual side, music to gameplay, fans tend to like the three aspects mentioned above.
But unfortunately, many gamers give bad marks because of the story from The Last of Us 2. One of them is because the developer puts a very strong LGBT aspect into this game. On the other hand, [Spoiler Alert] there is a main character who should be able to survive in the world of TLoU being forced to die in vain.
Therefore, many gamers have decided to give this game a low rating.
Opposite of Critics
On the other hand, the sequel to The Last of Us received an almost perfect rating from game critics. If averaged, TLoU 2 managed to get a rating of up to 95% and can be said to be one of the best games today.
Most of them raise the visual aspect that is close to real. Plus, the gameplay that is presented also makes this game even more exciting to play. As a result, many of the media and reviewers gave a perfect score of 10/10 or 5/5.
Developer Already Wanted
Before this game was released, Naughty Dog itself had first warned fans of the game. They had said that this game might not be what you expect or even be hated by the fanbase itself.
