Yakuza 6: Song of Life Might Get a PC Version
Sega recently launched some new gameplay for the upcoming PlayStation 4 remastered game from Yakuza 3. Now PC gamers are getting a bit of a breath of fresh air after the Yakuza 6 game will finally be released on PC devices.
As seen in the image below, Sega’s first quarter proposal for the previous year suggests that Yakuza 6: Song of Life will be making its way to PC, but this could potentially be a typo due to the fact that the listing shows an April 2022 release for the PlayStation 4 and PC versions of the game. . For those unaware, that date is the sequel’s launch on PS4 outside of Japan.
However, with Yakuza 0 just released on PC, and Kiwami expected to come out on the platform later this year, it’s possible that Yakuza 6: Song of Life will get their own version for PC.
It will be interesting to wait for Yakuza 6 PC
Yakuza 6 coming to PC will appeal to a lot of people, but that shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone, as Sega has been steadily improving its performance to embrace the platform by making its games more accessible on PC. For example, the publisher and developer recently revealed their decision to bring the upcoming Shenmue 1 and 2 to PC gamers.
Yakuza 6 as a whole has received more attention over the last few years, as Yakuza 0 on PS4 is received more widely in the West than in the past. With that said, it’s safe to assume that Sega will continue to focus on the Yakuza as one of its key properties in an effort to continue to grow its success going forward.
Yakuza 6: Song of Life is available for PlayStation 4.
