Charlemagne Dubbed The Worst Commander of Rise of Kingdoms
Everyone in the RoK community agreed that Charlemagne was the worst legendary commander in Rise of Kingdoms. Even his skills are called almost equivalent to Epic Commander than Legend.
Charlemagne has Leadership – Conquering – Skill. This means he can be used to attack enemy cities or lead a Rally on a structure building either the Crusader flag or the Alliance Fort.

However, because the skill is too weak, many people are skeptical and do not advise players to sacrifice the Golden Statue (Universal Legendary Sculpture) to increase Charlemagne’s skills.
I myself have commander Charlemagne with 5-2-0-0 skill. Obviously, all the gold statues that were obtained were purely from the victory of KvK Season 1. It never occurred to me to become a Rally Leader, let alone use a Legendary Sculpture for Charlemagne.
I don’t know what Lilith was thinking when she released Charlemagne, but as a commander who can be obtained for free, she is not a priority for Rise of Kingdoms players.
If there is like a classroom, Charlemagne is the student who is bullied the most. There were even players who chose to focus on raising their skills to Expertise, being ridiculed endlessly.
How bad was Charlemagne? Here’s the explanation.
Active Skill: Eagle of Jupiter – Only deals direct damage to the target (Direct Damage Factor) of 1400 only.
Passive Skill 1: Happy Home – When fighting in an open field, all troops led by Charlemagne have a 10% chance to cast a Shield or shield that lasts for 4 seconds and minimizes damage to a maximum of 1000 Damage.
Because of his two main skills alone Charlemagne is not so impressive. He was more like an Epic commander skill than having Legend commander status. That’s the reason why players agree, Charlemagne doesn’t deserve to be prioritized, except for RoK sultan friends like MaverickL and Baba TC Ataturk.
Passive Skills 2 and Passive 3 as well as additional Skills during Expertise only work when used for Rally Buildings such as the opponent’s City, Flag or Fortress.
While out there there are still many Legendary commanders with Conquering skills which are statistically much better 10x than Charlemagne at attacking the opponent’s building structures.
It was only natural that Charlemagne was called the worst commander in the Rise of Kingdoms. There are those who are weaker than the Charlemage skill, but they are not Legendary Commanders. Maybe in the future Lilith could lower her rank from Legendary to Epic.
