1. Login and open the Telegram application, then tap on the icon of three horizontal lines in the upper left corner.

2. Next select the Settings menu to enter the location where we can manage the account.

3. After entering Settings, please select Privacy and Security (Privacy and Security).

4. Scroll down the screen slightly until you find the “Sync Contacts” option.

5. In the “Contacts” section please disable the toggle bar “Sync Contacts” and select “Delete Synced Contacts”.

6. Done, now other people can’t find your Telegram account anymore in search.

But the drawback is that if one day there is something important and you have to contact a friend, then other users will have trouble starting a chat. The solution is that you have to start sending messages to the user in question, or send your Telegram profile link.

Therefore, previously, friends, create a username by going to Settings, on the Username menu, type the uname that you want to characterize your Telegram account, or you can copy your profile URL.

Then how to restore as before how? Just follow the steps above, and activate the (Turn ON) toggle bar in the “Sync Contacts” section again so that other people can find it.
