IEM Katowice 2022 Will Be Hosted with an Audience!
I’m surprised that Valve sometimes likes it wishy washy, recently they canceled the Dota 2 Winter Major tournament due to player flight problems related to COVID-19. Not long ago, there was an announcement that IEM Katowice 2022 would be held with an audience.
As a fan of esports tournaments, Game Spot supports Valve’s movement to continue to hold its flagship event. You see, a Major class tournament in the realm of CS:GO it always attracts attention.

Reported by the official Intel Extreme Master announcement, the IEM Katowice 2022 tournament will include 24 professional teams. They will compete at the Spodek Arena, Katowice, Poland. The tournament starts on February 15-27, 2022.
Not only that, ESL has also provided prize pool which is more than usual which is 1.5 million UDS (equivalent to IDR 21.4 billion) for the winner. This increase in the prize money turned out to be a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the IEM Katowice tournament on the international stage CS:GO.

Regarding the tournament, there are currently eight teams that have been confirmed to enter the group stage, such as Team Liquid, Vitality, G2 Esports, and Navi. While the other 16 teams have to go through the rounds play-in first to make sure their steps compete in the play event.
The organizers have also opened access to ticket purchases for those of you who want to watch IEM Katowice 2022 live. In fact, the enthusiasm of the fans was so great, because the tickets for God Mode and Premium Tickets had already been sold out. Only Lower Rank and Upper Rank Tickets remained.

I don’t know how many ESL and Valve open audience access on venue, but they seem to open up as much access as possible. Hopefully, no COVID-19 cases will occur at the IEM Katowice 2022 event and the event will run smoothly.
