MPL SG Season 2 Mobile Legends 2022 Schedule and Format
The Second Season of Mobile Legends Professional League Singapore Tournament, MPL-SG Season 2 will officially roll out as the final round of the PVP Esports Singapore Championship open qualifying competition involving several teams opens.
The Singapore Mobile Legends e-Sports organizing committee has released a number of detailed information regarding the grand prize, participating teams, and the format of the MPL SG Season 2 tournament.
There is also a tournament that is followed by a pro player involving 8 teams, fighting for the throne of MPL SG S2 champion. They are:
1. EVOS SG
2. RSG SG
3. Almighty
4. NOTORIOUS VILLAINS
5. Explorer
6. Kingsmen
7. 7th Team (taken from PVP ESports Regional Championship)
8. Team 8 (from Regional E-Sports PVP).
The last two slots will be filled by the two teams who successfully passed the challenges in the open qualifiers of the PVP e-Sports Regional Championships.
MPL SG Season 2 Format
After the last announcement, it was said that there were eight professional e-Sports teams that would participate in MPL Singapore Season 2, they would be separated into two groups, namely Group A & B.
Each group consists of 4 teams that will fight each other in the round-robin tournament. The winner of each group will automatically qualify for the Grand Playoff phase & start fighting for the winner’s prize.
MPL SG Season 2 Prizes
All six invited teams as well as two teams from MPL SG Season 2 qualifiers will try their best to win trophies, medals & cash in total of 100 thousand US dollars throughout the 4 weeks of the tournament.
PVP e-Sports Qualifier and Watch Live Streaming
All MPL SG Season 2 matches will be broadcast live on the MPL Singapore Facebook Fanpage. While the two teams have to grab the 2 available slots, they will still be competing in the Regional Championships Qualifier on August 14-26.
Registration for tournament registration is currently still wide open, and interested teams can register until the maximum deadline of 2 August.
The qualifying tournament will be held in an online format, with the total participants limited to 256 participants. The prize for this regional qualifying round is also 6300 US dollars in total.
Meanwhile, MPL SG Season 2 will only be held in early September 2022 if there are no problems. The composition of the Singaporean professional team that will compete in the Mobile Legends Pro League is not yet final.
