Riot Games Donates Proceeds from Battle Pass Sales for Victims of the Russia vs Ukraine War

Humanitarian steps were taken by Riot Games to help the victims of the war between Russia and Ukraine. This giant gaming company made an announcement about those who want to help restore war victims by making massive donations.

This donation is the result of a collective purchase battle pass in almost all Riot Games games like Valorant, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics, and Wild Rifts. Later, Riot will donate every purchase on March 5-12, 2022. In total, Riot Games targets that they will give one million USD (Rp. 14.4 billion).

The money donated went directly to three organizations, namely the International Medical Corps, Medecins Sans Frontieres, and the Polish Red Cross. These three humanitarian organizations were chosen because they have the easiest access and can quickly distribute donations from the Riot Games to victims of the Russia vs Ukraine war.

From Riot Games’ announcement on its official website, the donation process after fundraising will be carried out as soon as possible. It could be that after the final count on the 12th, they immediately distributed it to the three international humanitarian organizations.
