SNH48 Yang Bingyi Controversy Warns Media to Stop
A member of the Shanghai SNH48 group, Yang Bingyi warned the media and unscrupulous fans to stop following him when he was not active with the group.
As previously known, at the beginning of June at midnight, the captain of SNH48 Team X and the member of the fourth generation of SNH was hit by a scandal issue. Yang BingYi and boyfriend were caught on camera having a date in a park.
He and his girlfriend then entered the mini market to buy some snacks and tissues. The two of them then entered the man’s apartment until noon the next day before leaving.
This case raises the pros and cons of fans. Until Yang Bingyi’s own party issued a clarification that the man in question had been his childhood friend from Beijing.
Because they didn’t really believe it, netizens then uploaded a video at the end of 2022 when Yang Bingyi did something less than commendable. In addition to violating the group’s rules, he also insulted the fans who supported him.
In a 10-second video uploaded by a fan on Instagram Story, Yang Bingyi made an inappropriate sentence. He called his fans “disgusting sheep” which made the public angry.
The management of Shanghai Siba STAR48 until this news was made had not taken any action regarding the Yang Bingyi case. The possibility of the personnel graduating from the group is very large.
Previously, Yang Bingyi from SNH48 was often absent from performing at the theater for no definite reason. This makes fans suspect that he prefers to spend time with his girlfriend rather than being professional.
This furore provoked comments & responses from various parties, even his group friend, Zhou ShiYu, joined in insinuating Yang BingYi and defending SNH48 fans who were insulted by his own idol.
Zhou Shiyu said that a public figure should be a good example for others and at least appreciate the support of his fans, not insult them.
This is not the first time he has spoken up, previously there were members from GNZ48 and members of BEJ48 who also talked about this case in a Live Streaming broadcast on the Pocket 48 application.
