Tips T5 and VIP 18 for F2P in Rise of Kingdoms Quickly

Having the best type of troop or Tier 5 (T5) in the game Rise of Kingdoms is the dream of all players. So difficult and takes so long to make T5 an almost impossible endeavor for F2P or free players without any top-up.

One of the obstacles as F2P is collecting tens to tens of thousands of Book of Covenants to upgrade the Castle building, which is one of the many requirements for upgrading the Academy building to level 25.

Another obstacle is collecting Gems to get the Master Blueprint. At least, my friend must have more than 12 of these items to upgrade each building to level 25 (except SDA / RSS and Hospital buildings which are only one of four buildings).

In addition, Speedup is also the most needed thing. Given the military technology upgrade, the higher the level, the longer the upgrade process. Some reach 60 days, up to 192 days, aka more than six months to upgrade only one level.

Therefore, if you play Rise of Kingdoms as F2P, you must be careful in managing all kinds of items in your RoK account. Like the use of Speedup that we discussed in the previous tips article.

As well as some of the following additional tips may be able to help and should be considered as well:

1. Diligently join the Barbarian Fort rally

The main source of getting the Book of Covenant is from Barbarian Fort, once you join you can get 3 books. Although you don’t always get books, this is the main source.

2. Manage Gems wisely

Gem management must be wise. Don’t waste your gems on something that will only slow down your progress in having T5 troops.

Make sure from a long time ago that you have collected gems that you got either through Barbarian, event prizes, and others to then be used in our favorite popular event, namely MTG aka More Than Gems.
Many suggest that we always use Gems for VIP upgrades only. But if you have reached VIP 14 which in fact includes the prize of 3 Legendary Sculptures per day, then the focus can be shifted to the Book of Covenant.

3. Join the Great Alliance

Joining the strongest and largest alliance in a kingdom is not impossible as an F2P, as long as we meet the requirements requested by the Leader.

Generally, strong alliances prioritize high power to recruit players. If the power in your Rise of Kingdoms account meets the criteria, you can directly apply. Or if it’s a little less, you can talk to the alliance officials directly.

Especially when Lost Kingdom or KvK, big alliances have more slots to accommodate the number of other players, so there is no reason to waste the opportunity.

Why the strongest alliance? Considering it’s no secret that there are many P2W Sultans in big alliances who are diligent in top-ups, every time they top up we get a share of Wooden Chests, Stones, Bronze, Iron, Silver to Golden Chests that all RoK players dream of.

This Golden Chest contains many tempting prizes, one of which is Speedup, Gems and of course VIP points up to 2000 points which will help F2Ps to speed up the process to Tier 5 for sure.

4. Be diligent in Farming Gems

Don’t be lazy to grind, farming Gems in Rise of Kingdoms is recommended for F2P. Even if you need to create 4 farm accounts each for Food, Wood, Stone and Gold. Well, in the main account, focus on farming Gems only.

Always remember the saying, Grinding F2P can beat the lazy Low Spender. It has been proven by several RoK players.

5. Follow and Complete Events

As much as possible, my friend, do not miss every opportunity of this valuable event. If you are in a quiet kingdom, usually you can also win the Mightiest Governor Event by grinding on stage 2 (Barbarian), and stage 3 (Farming).

Although it takes a long time and is not easy, having a VIP level of 18 and a T5 troop is not impossible, because it has been proven that Rise of Kingdoms players have achieved this feat.
