Using Bots Can Destroy Rise of Kingdoms

As an online game with players from various parts of the world, the developer Lilith should have started to be more assertive towards the use of bots in any form in the Rise of Kingdoms game.

After the issue of the biggest KvK cheating controversy in RoK history yesterday, it went viral again where Korean players from the royal server #1365 were caught using Macro Bot, a type of bot to multi-control the same accounts, there is also a typical account with a similar layout design, power the same /commander/troop.

Everything is moved simultaneously as if it were one account. The player then uploads a post with a photo or behind-the-scenes image of him setting up multi-control authentication while playing RoK.

Actually, there are various types of bots in the Rise of Kingdoms game, ranging from war or war, to those that automatically give players titles when they need them.

For example the Kingdom #1960 server, in KvK Season 1 they were known to use Bots while fighting #1957. According to one of the RoK players in the Facebook group, at first not many people cared about it, but when the 60 traitors from #1954 began to unravel.

Kingdom #1997 also had time to use the services of a third party from a website to use bots that automatically give titles such as Duke, Architect, Scientist, and Justice to its players.

But recently their Council agreed to stop this bot after a lot of abuse when #1997 was hit by Civil War & the king’s account got a strong reprimand from Lilith.

However, after all the use of bots in an online game is really a useless and less than commendable act. Bots are still illegal, can’t be justified whatever the reason.

It’s a shame why it had to happen like this, especially since the perpetrators used this bot when they were in a war or war in KvK where all players should play as naturally as possible without the use of such bots.

This is clearly a disgrace to the Rise of Kingdoms community and an injury to sportsmanship & fair play in playing online games. Even though many other online games also use cheats and bots, it’s a good idea for RoK players not to imitate this disgraceful behavior.

Moreover, Rise of Kingdoms is an idle game, aka a relaxed game that doesn’t need special skills to win. Plus if they are P2W players, they should be able to win the battle without even a bot.
