Why SGO48 Didn't Say Goodbye to JKT48?
The happy moment came from a music group from Jakarta, JKT48. They just celebrated their 9th anniversary by holding a SOL/LUNA 9th Anniversary Show concert.
The event was also broadcast live via the RCTI Plus application, fans who had purchased tickets could access and watch the concert anywhere online, either via Smartphone or PC.
In the middle of the JKT48 Sol Luna event, there was a VTR featuring members of 48 groups from various countries such as AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, NGT48, STU48, MNL48, CGM48, BNK48, Team TP and Team SH even though they wished JKT48 a happy birthday the 9th.
The excitement of the concert and the greetings coming from their sister groups certainly added to the enthusiasm of the members who performed. But there is one thing that has been missed, namely the absence of SGO48 in the video.
As if something was missing, considering that SGO48 is part of the 48 Family from the city of Saigon. Until now, it is not known why the idol group that once shocked the world of K-Pop fandom did not give a speech to its seniors.
However, quoted from Instagram social media, an alleged SGO48 fan from Vietnam said that SGO members had not returned to gathering since activities were temporarily suspended by management.
“This may be the reason why they didn’t have time to send videos to JKT48. I think SGO48 is still on hiatus, so the management hasn’t been able to gather the members and staff.” he wrote.
Giving greetings to each other has become a tradition that continues and is maintained by all 48 groups every time someone has a birthday. Therefore, if only one group is missed like yesterday’s moment, it will become a conversation among fans.
There was an issue that said that an incident that occurred at a variety event where SGO48 members were asked to guess inappropriate items was the initial reason why JKT48 removed the SGO banner at that time.
However, now the SGO48 website and banner are clearly listed on the JKT48 website again. So it is not clear why they did not give a speech.
Even though in this digital era, SGO48 members can say hello through social media. Like what DEL48 did, even though they are on hiatus, they still say hello to JKT48 on their respective Instagram Stories.
