The beginning of the formation of the horror podcast Do You See What I see was the many questions about grandparents’ house. Because it was quite tiring to answer questions one by one by typing, so Mister answered via IG story live and became a story teller. Mister admits he actually doesn’t like being exposed on camera, the funny thing is that he actually doesn’t like seeing his own face. He did IG story live several times to answer questions about grandparents’ house. Because of the many versions of mister’s friends and neighbors, he began to like to tell stories about grandparents’ house again. Then Mister also made a study podcast with the theme of being strong on the sunnah, but he felt that his audience was getting smaller. While walking, Mister felt that there were still many people asking about his grandparents’ house, then he tried to create a horror story podcast with the title Do You See What I See with the tagline a collection of true story horror stories.
The initial concept for the horror podcast Do You See What I See was to continue the unfinished story of grandparents’ house. Then Mister made a 3 episode pilot project about another horror story that Mister experienced. The initial episode, mister also asked his father to make a horror story that he had experienced. On the fourth day after the content aired, Do You See What I See was immediately ranked 13th and on the sixth day it was ranked 1.
After the 3rd episode aired, Mister offered to the listeners to share their horror stories. Then a lot of listeners submitted their horror stories, but unfortunately a lot of the audio quality was below Spotify’s standard so it failed to air. To improve the sound quality of listeners who send his stories, Mister made a guide for good sound quality. One example is don’t record on WhatsApp because the sound will definitely break.
