Here's Chris Evans' Experience When He Was Voiced by Lightyear Films!

Actor Chris Evans has just shared his experience as the voice of Buzz in the film Lightyear. He judged that there was a lot of pressure that he had never felt before.

There’s no need to doubt it, now Toy Story fans are definitely looking forward to a spin-off film from one of the iconic characters in the Toy Story franchise, namely Buzz Lightyear.

As the title suggests, this film will tell the story of the life of Buzz Lightyear’s character that is not yet known by many. Actor Chris Evans was lined up by Angus MacLane to voice the character.

Chris Evans’ Experience When He Was Voiced by Lightyear

In a press conference held online, Chris Evans with Taika Waititi, Angus MacLane, and Guerin Susman shared their experiences while producing the film Lightyear, which they claimed had many unique and unexpected events.

Chris Evans said he was thrilled to be involved in Pixar’s latest project to voice the character Buzz Lightyear. He also praised Pixar as the best animated film studio ever.

“I’m excited to be working as a voice actor for a character like this in this work. I really like animation, but Pixar animation is the best. I think it’s Pixar in terms of storytelling. it is an honor to work with such a great artist. I thought, ‘I just have to do well.’ There’s a kind of pressure,” said Chris Evans.

Not to forget, the handsome 40-year-old actor also revealed how difficult it was to voice the character of Buzz Lightyear. It is known, Chris Evans did not use any tools to voice the character.

“The difficult part is that I have a lot of control over it. I can use many tools in movies, but in this job, I have to participate as a voice actor and act only with my voice,” he explained.

Not quite there, Chris Evans said that there are some similarities between Buzz Lightyear and Captain America. FYIChris Evans is indeed famous for his character as Steve Rogers aka Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

“The two characters are similar. They are similar in that they travel outside of their own time, and that they are people of tremendous responsibility.” said Chris.

“And Buzz is a journey of confidence that starts with confidence. Captain America is a little different from him, but he goes on a journey to be reborn as a hero. In that sense, he seems to have a similar emotional line.” he concluded.

In addition to Chris Evans, Taika Waititi, James Brolin, Keke Palmer, Peter Sohn, and Efren Ramirez will also be contributing to the Lightyear film. Please note, this film will be shown in Indonesian cinemas on June 15, 2022 future.
