How to be a good TANKER
How to be a good TANKER | Mobile Legend Tips and Tricks
Yo, welcome back to the Blog Just Sharing and Saving, before going to the core of the article I would like to wish you a happy Eid Al-Adha 1442H for Muslims who celebrate. June we all always be given health and safety when this corona virus pandemic is still not over.
If you are moba players, surely you are no stranger to the word tank. The meaning of the word tank in the MOBA world with tanks in the real world is almost the same, namely something that is at the forefront, hard, and used as a shield during war. Because the meaning of tank is too broad, we minimize it by taking the word “tank mobile legend” ok.
The problem is, why don’t people want to pick tanks? Why is it that every time a war loses the blame is always on the tank? Why did the tank have to be slashed? The answer is one, because tanks are the backbone of the team (I think yes). If hyper is the spearhead of a team, then the tank is the body of the spear. So, how do we become good tankers (user tanks) and can carry the team in order to achieve victory? below I have summarized some things that need to be considered if you are a tank user. The points written below are the result of discussions from my thoughts and my squad friends, who every time we play we always change roles and feel what is good and bad about certain roles.
For you tank users without coercion or because of your s5 position, you are extraordinary players. Why do I say that? yes, we are just open minded, for example when we play solo ranked ml, definitely teammates on pick heroes who have big damage such as marskman or assassin. They want to get maniac or savage, that’s a clichéd excuse. Do you often find players who immediately ask for a draft pick to be raised by taking a tank hero? Very rare! For that, I thank all of you who volunteered to pick tanks during solo rank.

1. Read Enemy Strategy
If you think that the tank’s job is only to protect mm, be at the forefront of war, or help hyper when farming, your thoughts are not broad. Tanks also have the task of reading enemy strategies. if a tanker could read the enemy’s strategy, he could take action to prevent the enemy’s plans from proceeding smoothly. One way to read the enemy’s strategy is to find out the rotation of each opponent. Usually this is used to make the opponent hyper riot when farming, the ability of the offlane hero when in the lane, etc. I will give an example, for example, hyper opponent, namely Fanny, at the beginning of the game, he will go straight to the purple buff. Now, this is the right time for midlaners and tanks to make fanny riots so that he has difficulty in farming, if we are hockey we can just get the purple buff.
2. No Need to Clear Minions
This is a point that is often overlooked by most tank users. Yes, I know that we as tank users also need money, but it would be better if we just help friends instead of clear minions. Tankers can get money from assists or kills, so just let the minions be cleared by our friends who are not tanks. After all, if we take the minions, midlaner, sidelaner, or offlaner, where do we get the money from? The forest is completely owned by Hyper. Thankfully if the hyper wants to give a green buff, what if he doesn’t want to give it?
Imagine when we were busy clearing minions, suddenly the sideline/offlane got hit, bro? It’s like that, our sidelane/offlane is dead, we’ve lost to the mechanic in the gank too, it’s auto lose if it’s not compact, wkwkwk. so it’s better if at the beginning of the game we cover hyper farming until he gets level 4, after that we cover mm until the end. if your communication is smooth, surely your rotation is also good. If your rotation is good, the enemy can be overwhelmed and may ask for surren, the chance of winning can also be above 80%, yes, hehe.
3. Hit the Enemy Core
To do this point, you can’t do it alone, you need at least 1 person to accompany us. if I personally usually together with mm. Pressing the enemy’s core can be during farming or during war. The way to make our skills or basic attacks point to the core is to use lock hero mode. It’s useless, right, there are features that are very helpful but we don’t use them well.
4. Beware of Ganking
Not a few enemies who choose to gang up because the benefits are very large. “Why are you playing in a gang? Be brave by one here” was a stupid sentence that came from a player who was hit by a gang. Yes, the name is also a 5v5 game, it’s only natural if you play gangs, play pou there if you don’t want to get hit by a gang. If you do the first point correctly, you can handle this point easily. An important requirement to do this point is to communicate with friends and always pay attention to the minimap.
When you suddenly get hit by a gang, if our team’s ability loses, don’t be too arrogant. Provide adequate resistance while taking a step back. When all members are ready then we as tanks can open war. Well, here is the scene I like the most when I use a tank, even though I only get an assist but elegantly opening a war is my way, right, wow.
5. Harass and Protect
Entering the late game, all players must have prepared everything thoroughly. Starting from the finished build, max level, and adaptation to the game rhythm that has started to become ingrained. War in lategame is largely determined by the hero used, build and counter build, and most importantly the timing. Now we as tanks are too eager to open war, because it could be time for us to lose war. Find a good position, read the enemy’s strategy, hit the enemy’s core periodically, and communicate with the team are important points to achieve victory. Harass and Protect is a collection of points that I have mentioned before that are used simultaneously when entering the lategame.
