“So, the owner of the film once asked that this Lightyear be reviewed, not censored but reviewed. Why review? Because everything is not complete (no translation and so on)” said Rommy Fibri.
Furthermore, Rommy has also asked Disney to consider a scene which he thinks is still sensitive in Indonesia. However, even if they pass the censorship, they will immediately raise the minimum age limit for the audience to 13 years.
“From that review, LSF has seen and then provided a grid. Even if they pass (censorship) later (the minimum age limit for the audience) is 13 years. Since there is one record given, there is a scene that is asked to be considered (LGBT). Because the audience in Indonesia is still sensitive about scenes like that,” he added.
The scene in question is when one of the female characters kisses the same sex. Of course, the scene received criticism from various countries which were still taboo about the scene.
