MPL Season 2 is Coming Soon! Let's Register Your Team Now
Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) is the premier league of Mobile Legends organized by Moonton and RevivaLTV for players residing in Indonesia. This league lasts for 5 months and the prizes offered are USD 100,000.
On June 22, 2022, the Pressconference has been completed. Finally, Moonton is ready to again hold the most prestigious event, namely Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Season 2 with the theme Break Your Limit.
After the success in the first Season which was won by the NXL team, now you can participate in the MPL Season 2. If the participating teams are from MPL Indonesia Season 1, where all ten teams are from online qualifiers. MPL Indonesia Season 2 uses the Direct Invite system as a form of appreciation for teams that excel during the Season 1. So big teams like NXL, RRQ, and Evos will participate again in MPL Season 2.
However, teams that have never qualified can still participate by participating in the online qualifying round. This was put in place to provide opportunities for new teams. Later, there will be 2 online qualifying rounds with the following schedule:
1. Qualifier 1 (Q1) which will be held on 8-10 June 2022
2. Qualifier 2 (Q2) which will be held on 22-24 June 2022
The match format that will be used in this qualifier phase is Bo1 before the quarter-finals and Bo3 for the quarter-finals until the winner is determined. The registration period for the first qualifier (Q1) will open on 30 June 2022. The top 3 teams from Q1 and Q2 will have the opportunity to compete in the Qualifier Final which will be held on 6-8 July 2022.
In addition to the 6 teams from Q1 and Q2 earlier, 4 teams ranked 5-8 from the Grand Final of MPL Indonesia Season 1 will immediately get the opportunity to compete here. So, the Qualifier Final round will feature 10 teams (6 from qualifiers and 4 Direct Invites) who will compete in a Round Robin (Bo1) format.
From the Qualifier Final round, the 6 teams with the highest ranking will qualify for the Regular Season along with the 4 teams in the top rank of the Grand Final of MPL Indonesia Season 1.
