PUBG Mobile Update – New Weapon + Beta Version – PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBGM) has received a major update in mid-June with the release of 0.6.0. Mainly introducing a new season pass system and playable first-person view. But that’s old news. There is now a beta version of PUBG Mobile listed on the Play Store.

Now, as this is a beta release meant for testing purposes, there is no way to log in with your regular account. You have to create a new character with guest options to play. All monetization has also been turned off. This way you don’t have to worry about the accidental purchase of something that will be related to the Guest Account that.

The changelog for PUBG Mobile 0.7.0 beta contains some interesting information, so we’ve quoted the full text below for those of you who want to know the specifics without looking at the aforementioned ten minute video breakdown.
Arcade Mode – War
– New and faster Arcade mode variations.
New weapons
– Added SLR Sniper Rifle.
Portable Wardrobe
– Players can now place clothes in their Closet Portable and instantly change clothes during battle.
As you can see, the 0.7.0 update will add a new arcade mode called war but it would appear that this is a timed mode that can only be played at certain times of the day. There’s a little gray box listing the hours between 20:00 and 23:59, so I’m concluding that we’ll just have to wait a little longer for the Beta War mode to play between those hours.

Apart from what’s listed in the changelog, you can also expect an updated UI that moves things around and cleans up the interface. It’s now much easier to choose your game mode (classic or arcade), your view (third person or first person), your team member number (1, 2, or 4), and your server, all from one screen.
Mimin imagines that all of you who are dying for PUBG, Mobile fans out there will probably get Kick Out of this new beta release if you’re interested in the state of the game’s development. To most of us it might seem a bit overwhelming to have a separate open-beta roster while the stable version is still clearly a work in progress, but at least we can expect that major changes won’t be pushed to the player base. before they are publicly tested.
