How to Register TransferWise

1. Visit the website www.transferwise.com or download the app from Google Play Store / Apps Store

2. Select Sign up, enter your personal data according to the identity of your KTP/SIM/Passport

3. Upload one of the identities such as KTP/SIM/Passport for data verification. Once uploaded, the team from TransferWise will verify it manually. This verification process takes about 6 hours.

4. Once valid, fill in your personal data, then fill in your data and bank number in Indonesia

5. The validation process will match your identity with the personal data entered in TransferWise, then TransferWise will ask you to upload your bank statement or proof of your home address.

6. The TransferWise team will send a ‘confirmed’ email notification and get a TransferWise borderless account.

7. The borderless account is active and can access up to 4 currencies – EUR (Euro), AUD (Australian Dollar), GBP (British Pound) and USD (US Dollar). You can now receive or send money with a TransferWise borderless account.

To receive money abroad via TransferWise is also quite easy, just give the sender NAME, IBAN and BANK CODE, wait about 2 days then the money will enter your TransferWise borderless account accompanied by an email notification. You can choose to cash out right away or wait for the best rate.

For the transfer process from a borderless TransferWise account to a local bank account in Indonesia, the process is almost the same, it’s just that the process takes about 3 days.
