6 Common problems with PPSSPP and how to solve them

“Insufficient opengl driver support detected!” or an error message like this.

After the “MSVCP120.dll not found” issue above, if your PC has just reinstalled Windows and you have not updated the VGA driver, you will see this error message.

From what I’m talking about, this can be caused by one of three issues:

1. I just reinstalled Windows, so I don’t have a VGA driver yet.
2. VGA driver not updated
3. Your VGA does not yet support the OpenGL version required by the PPSSPP emulator application (Most of these problems occur on laptops that are not specifically for gaming and have default VGA motherboards. increase).

The fix is simple, but be patient if your download speed is slow. The solution for this issue is:

1. Download or update your VGA driver. Make sure the VGA driver you download matches the VGA type installed in your laptop or computer.

To check the VGA type installed on your laptop or computer:
1. Press Windows (Windows logo) + R on your keyboard.
2. Then select the menu or the “Displays” section and check the “Devices” section on the left.
3. Look at the word “Name:” and you will see the type of VGA installed.
Laptops or computers that usually begin with brand names such as
Intel, AMD, NVIDIA.

2. Install the previously downloaded VGA driver. After installing, try to open the PPSSPP emulator application. If you still get this error message, please comment.
