How to easily use cheats on PPSSPP emulator for PC and Android

So I made this article for those who don’t know how. For PC it’s very easy to use cheats with the PPSSPP emulator application, but for Android you need an application that can edit the text of the file.

How to easily use cheats on PPSSPP emulator for PC and Android

How to use cheats in PPSSPP emulator for PC (Windows)

  1. Open the PPSSPP emulator application.
  2. Make sure cheats are turned on in PPSSPP. If not,[設定]>[システム]>[チーター/チートを有効にする]Please move to
  3. Then open the game you want to cheat on, wait a few seconds and press ESC to open the PPSSPP menu. No need to wait for it to appear on the menu.
  4. Then select cheats.
  5. Then select Edit Cheetah File (Edit Cheat File).
  6. Afterwards a new application (usually a notepad application) will appear to enter the cheat code for the game you are playing. Remember to save before closing the Notepad application.
  7. After editing the cheat file, close the Notepad application and return to the cheat menu. You will see a list of cheats you have entered in the file, select/check the cheats you want.

How to use cheats in PPSSPP emulator for Android

  1. Open the PPSSPP emulator application.
  2. Make sure cheats are turned on in PPSSPP. If not,[設定]>[システム]>[チーター/チートを有効にする]Please move to
  3. Long press the game you want to cheat before opening the game you want to cheat. A menu will appear later that displays your Game ID. Remember your Game ID.

    It usually starts with the words “ULUS”, “ULES”, “NJPH”, “ULJM”.

  4. After that you can run the game. Wait a few seconds and exit the game.
  5. Next, look for cheat files in the PPSSPP repository.

    Usually found here: SDCard\PSP\Cheat\Game ID

  6. Open the cheat file (make sure it matches your game ID), enter the desired cheat code, save and close.
  7. Open the PPSSPP emulator application and run the previously played game.
  8. Then for Android[戻る]Press the button to open the PPSSPP menu again.
  9. Then enter the cheats/cheat menu and select/check the cheats you want to use/want.

problem

  • The cheat you entered does not work. Most cheat creators are using his PPSSPP version that is older, so the solution is to download the older version.
